What comes out when you pop genital herpes?

Earlier today i popped a pimple looking bump on my upper thigh, only one and it was a medium-small pimple. It was a little more red and a little more waxy than a pimple. When i popped it there was no pain or anything, it just swelled up after and stayed swollen for about 45 minutes. I put ice on it and it is still a little swollen. Also it came out as clear and white puss with a little blood. I am going to the doctor but can't see him for a while so i am trying to get a lead on this, any help would be great, thanks!
