Help name this flowering plant?

I live in North Central Texas. Bought at Home Depot 2 years ago with no tag. It is very heat tolerant, probably about 6-8" tall. Best I can remember, the blooms started of an orangish color, slowly turning yellow before the bloom dies off. The leaves were very deep green, almost waxy looking. I planted just a few plants, and they quickly filled in the flower bed. Did great in the sun with frequent watering. I planted in early spring, and they bloomed heavily all summer up until the end of November, died off at the first hard freeze.
