Do Redken products really work?

Hey guys! So, I'm getting my hair dyed/highlighted etc this week, and I'm also buying some new shampoo/conditioner. I've used Pantene, Garnier, Tre Semme, Herbal Essences, and some others but I need a shampoo/conditioner that provides the best quality for dry/dull/course (in some ares), hair. I've used many serums, moisture renewal shampoos/ conditioners, and this waxy stuff that I smooth on (it's by the Body Shop) and I'm so sick of trying all these sham/cond brands that aren't doing that great for my dry hair. I want to try Redken, because I hear that they have excellent products but I don't want to spend 3X more on a product that may or may not give me the results I want. Help for dry/long hair????
