Left ear does not feel right?

If you must look in the history of my ear problems I have previous questions. My left ear feels louder when I touch it like alittle stuffy. There might be some wax outside in the outer canal and it's making me obsess about it. It's hard to tell if the ear has hearing loss, maybe alittle. A cotton bud will either block it or make it worse but possibly better I don't know. Cutton buds usually clean the outer canal but block it making hearing a bit different which I'm hypersensitive to. So is this normal when the canal is slightly waxy like it's loud when you talk. My blocked ears usually remain until I get used to it then it goes away. Please help!
