Could my puppy have an ear defect?

I have a 7 month old puppy. I wonder from time to time if she has something wrong with her ears. Since the start one of then tended to stay floppy while she would stand the other one up. They also look different on the inside. Only one of her ears gets dirty and waxy. Her hearing seems normal though. Any idea on what could be going on? I feel like maybe there's not a connection between the inside/outside in the one ear? But I have no clue. Thanks!
