College credit question?

If a college catalog says that one "must complete 33 semester hours in residence with 66 grade points in addition to the credits used for the first degree," how many classes does that mean? I understand the 33 semester hours part but not the 66 grade points thing. I'm looking into what it would take to complete both a BS and a BA degree and trying to figure out how much longer it would take to do both!
